What Are The Preponderances Of Your Mind?

This indeed is a thought provoking question that must be going through each one's mind...it is a question that requires a very honest response from any well meaning person but we will not delve into your answering this very salient question.

The preponderances of your mind would loosely be coined as what your mind dwells on, the majority of the time. As a matter of fact, your posterity, that of your family, descendants of the next generation, the environment, the country, Africa, and the world at large are heavily dependant on what kind of thoughts you subject your mind to.

Is it revolutionary thoughts? are your thoughts capable of inspiring your peers and the current and future generations? Can your intellect inspire hope for africa?

In the words of the great author in history in the name of James Allen in his book coined in the form of the old biblical adage "as a man thinketh" he asserts that, "A man does not come to the almshouse or the jail by the tyranny of fate or circumstance, but by the pathway of grovelling thoughts and base desires. Nor does a pure minded man fall suddenly into crime by stress of any mere external force; the criminal thought had long been secretly fostered in the heart, and the hour of opportunity revealed its gathered power."

If you are careful to note, you should have realised that what occupies your mind determines where and how you will spend your entire life.

Other scholars have recognised the fact that the mind operates on the basis of a garbage-in-garbage-out system, meaning that it only gives whatever you input into it and it is for this reason that the best impersonator of the mind so far- the Computer - will only respond according to the information fed into the system...if u key in 5 via the keyboard it CANNOT give you 3 on the monitor...the same applies to your mind, whatever you feed your mind with that's what your life will translate into.

Everytime you dwell on the past hurts, mistreatments, failures, heartbreaks, dissappointments, and negatives, you do not make your life any better, you worsen your circumstances.

It's only when you stop whining and grumbling on your negatives that you will learn to move on with life. It's only when you begin to harbor positive and good thoughts and actions that you will build heavenly mansions and virtues of joy and happiness in your life.

Only when you direct your thoughts in the right direction are you going to recieve the right results. History has a good saying that goes: "if you think the way you have always thought and do what you have always done, you will get the same results you have always gotten".

It's therefore imperative that you move out of your jail of imprisoned thoughts of negativity and self-hatred.

A man of positive thoughts is more powerful and better than a thousand men with negative thoughts, because it's only a positive man that envisions a successful posterity, sees the invisible and does the impossible.

Bill Gates ascension to be the richest man on earth was not fate but right thoughts directed in the right direction.

The Biblical old adage "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" holds true even in present times. A right thinker will speak the right speech. He will create using his words. He will speak things in his life and they will come forth.

He will speak a blessing upon his life and that of others and it shall come to pass. All this must be done in the belief that we are like GOD, made in his likeness and he created the earth by speech and so can we create. Your speech is a manifestation of the preponderances of your mind.

James Allen in his celebrated piece of motivation, as a man thinketh, affirms that, "A particular train of thought persisted in a direction, be it good or bad, cannot fail to produce it's results on the character and circumstances. A man cannot directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his thoughts, and so indirectly, yet surely, shape his circumstances."

Finally, choose this day that your mind will be occupied with positive thoughts, healthy thoughts, thoughts of peace, tranquility and harmony and your life shall be a clear manifestation of all the goodness of life.

Remember that success and achievement are the crown of effort in the right path and the diadem of thought on fruitful things. Resolve this day that your mind shall not be a haven of negative and wrong thoughts and in the words of a great man in the name of E. Paul Hovey: always remember that a blind man's world is bounded by the limits of his touch; an ignorant man's world by the limits of his knowledge; and a great man's world by the limits of his vision.
