Satisfied

As I face each new day
I wonder what God would say
Is He pleased with my life
Or have I fostered strife.

Are my words seasoned with salt
For without, it's sin, we're taught
Do my deeds refect love
Motivated by His Holy Dove.

Did I cause someone to stumble today
God will surely judge without delay
Remember, we are but one heartbeat from death
Any moment could be our final breath.

We must right the wrongs while we can
Say I'm sorry and lend a helping hand
Ask God to create in us a clean heart
And for His Holy Spirit to never depart.

Eternity is a very serious matter
Your soul redeemed or life shattered
Is my Lord fully satisfied with me
His smile will say it all when His face I see.
