Just Do It

“The graveyard is the richest place on earth because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dreams”. These are the words of an inspired and ambitious author by the name Ashel Moyo.

Nothing meaningful would have been achieved on this planet if all people chose to leave whatever they would have planned or started unfinished, because of the critics they got from the crowd. Imagine if Thomas Edison would have decided not to complete his vision, will we be having the modern light? Imagine what the world would be if the Wright Brothers had decided to shelve plans on the aeroplane? We would not have anything today if these geniuses had chosen to shelf their ideas.

It is said, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step”. It is not a matter of how big or small are you to venture into something big, but what you do with what you have. “ Fear” is the element that intimidate our success. We are often afraid of people’s words concerning the steps we are about to take in life. Never allow someone’s irresponsible comments stop you. Usually they cannot see the expanse of your vision and potential. When they say, “it can’t be done”, make sure they watch you doing it. Use the words thrown at you as your stepping stones on your way up rather than stumbling rocks blocking you to reach your goal.

Today I am telling you that gather up all the, “you cannot make it”, to fuel up your success. Nelson Mandela once said, “We often ask ourselves, who am I to be gorgeous, fabulous or talented, but actually who are you not to be?” Gather up all the confidence and courage to face the wind for that’s where victory awaits. Even though the journey seem rough and tough, just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Be tough enough, to face the storm that is coming ahead of you and there is no turning back. When life puts you in tough situations don’t say, “why me”, just say, “TRY ME” (Dwayne Johnson).

This reminds me of the Eagle’s lifestyle. When clouds gather, the eagles get excited. The eagle uses the storm’s wind to lift itself up and high above the clouds. This gives the eagle an opportunity to fly high. While this is happening, all the other birds will be hiding in the leaves and branches of trees. We also can use the storms of life to rise to greater heights. Let the raging storms of life give you the courage to fly above all problems, all critics and all fear.

Bear this in mind, we don’t grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges. It does not matter what life gives you to work with, but it is what you do with what you are given that matters. You have to believe in yourself. If you do not believe in yourself and what you have, why should anyone else believe in you? It’s not about what people think, rather it’s what you think that matters. When people tell you that you cannot do something, they are telling you what they cannot do.

In life the greatest inspirations comes from within. Work up each day to dream big, inspire yourself, focus and execute. Soldier on don’t wait for someone’s inspiration to take action that should come as bonus.

The fact that someone started exactly what you wanted to do or start should not discourage you from pursuing your vision. You are unique, and let the uniqueness in you shine. Your future depends on your actions. Don’t limit yourself and don’t let others convince you that you are limited in what you can do. Believe in yourself and then live so as to reach your possibilities. You can achieve what you believe you can.
So JUST DO IT!!!
